Two top awards for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.

11th June 2019

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has scooped two top accolades at the Trade Van Driver awards by claiming the Best Trade Van Range and Best Large Van awards.

Now in their eighth year, the Trade Van Driver Awards recognise the manufacturers, firms and people who, in the opinion of the judges, offer the very best to retail van buyers.

Trade Van Driver is the only magazine which caters for the owner-driver and small fleet operator and, as such, its awards are judged not only by the expert panel of journalists at the magazine but also by a panel of readers who use light commercial vehicles in their day-to-day business operations.

Now sitting firmly at number two in the UK van sales chart, Volkswagen has carved itself an admirable reputation among trade buyers. It is also the only manufacturer which doesn’t share its models with other manufacturers too, making it an ideal choice for this award

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles offers a diverse model range – from the compact Caddy, through the evergreen Transporter and sturdy Crafter panel vans, dropsides and tippers, to the Caravelle passenger carrier, California camper and Amarok pick-up.

In addition, its Working With You promise and extensive aftersales services – all designed to make the life of van operators as easy as possible – sets it apart from the competition.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles also claimed the Best Large Van award for its Crafter for the third year running.

“Traders who want a large van need look no further than the nearest Volkswagen dealer. Despite stiff opposition, the Crafter nudged ahead to take the prize this year.

The Judges

““It’s great to receive these awards from Trade Van Driver, and to be recognised as offering the best all-round range for light commercial operators. We work hard within the brand and our network to ensure we have a bespoke package for every business user, working with customers to help them drive their business forward.”
