LOCAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Location: Exeter base with time spent at other Group sites
We are looking to recruit a pro - active Local Business Development Manager to develop and grow our business presence across the Volvo brand in Devon, Cornwall, Somerset & Dorset.
The successful applicant will have experience in a similar role ideally gained within the motor trade, however, we are equally keen to hear from individuals outside of the industry with a strong desire to succeed in this demanding yet rewarding environment.
You will be an energetic, dynamic self starter with a proven track record in B2B sales and possess the ability to negotiate at all levels.A high level of customer contact is required managing both pre appointed leads and self generated opportunities.
Reporting to the Group Corporate & Fleet Manager and working from our dealership in Marsh Barton Exeter, your role will focus primarily on sales into the fleet sector with new and existing accounts. This role is target driven where negotiation and closing abilities are key to the success alongside relationship building with senior external decision makers and end user customers.
The Group currently represent a number of the World’s most recognised and desired automotive brands from 37 dealerships throughout Cornwall, Devon, Somerset & Dorset.
