We are constantly looking at ways to improve our customers experience with us and as such we have created a vacancy for the new role of Customer Support and California Product Genius, this is an additional role to join our existing team at Carrs Volkswagen Van Centre Exeter.
As one of the first points of contact for our current and future customers we are looking for a friendly and dynamic individual who understands what it takes to deliver outstanding levels of customer care. We are looking for someone who has a naturally positive and vibrant character who is able to build rapport quickly whilst qualifying the customers requirements and assisting them during their visit to Carrs Van Centre.
Predominantly responsible for hosting our customers and supporting our sales and aftersales teams, this role will include (but not be limited to) the following areas:
As you can see, this exciting new role is highly variable and vitally important. You will become one of the faces of our business, always on hand to help our customers and your colleagues. You will need to polite, courteous, adaptable and energetic. You will need to be an excellent communicator and be comfortable carrying out instructions but also be competent to use your own initiative to identify jobs that need to be done.
You will also need to be computer ‘savvy’ and literate as part of this role will be to respond to the increasing level of enquiries we are receiving via e-mail, live chat and our social media platforms. The responsibility of this role is to provide a prompt and efficient response to the customer’s enquiry with a view to arranging an appointment for our sales team to discuss their requirements further. As such, there will be an incentive scheme in place to reward this.
This role would be ideally suited to someone with customer facing experience in the hospitality industry or similar and can be viewed as an excellent first step into the motor industry. Furthermore, experience of handling online enquiries, live chat or similar is very advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.

A full clean UK driving licence is absolutely essential for this role.
