A MOT test is first required in most instances when a vehicle reaches 3 years from the date of its UK registration and then yearly there after.
Also did you know that you are able to get an MOT up to a month (minus a day) before it runs out and keep the same renewal date.
This test is carried out by a trained MOT tester who will inspect your vehicle to ascertain your vehicles roadworthiness at the time of its inspection.
It isn’t the same as having your vehicle serviced and doesn’t check its general mechanical condition such as its engine or gearbox ,however any items deemed safety related to the driver/passengers or any other road users/pedestrians including its exhaust emissions are inspected at the time of the vehicle being presented at the testing station.
If your vehicle does not pass on its first visit you will be entitled to a free retest if it is returned to the original Westerly testing station within 10 days where it will undergo a re test.
*When registered other servicing & repair options will be available.
