The new 4 Series Coupé pushes the boundaries and continues to charge forwards. Featuring signature BMW driving dynamics, sleek and angular design and astonishing performance it is sure to be the centre of attention.
With its new distinctive kidney grille, short overhangs, slender pillars and frameless windows, the new BMW 4 Series expresses a sense of athletic confidence from every angle.
Complementing the overall sportiness of the new BMW 4 Series Coupé is a suite of stylish and functional details that grab your attention. From the outside, the M rear spoiler and a stylised light carpet welcomes you. Once inside, you’ll notice ambient lighting, 3-zone air conditioning, and an acoustic windscreen; together creating an exclusive atmosphere.
The new BMW 4 Series will feature a new engine range, which adopts 48-volt mild-hybrid technology across the diesel line-up, as well as on the range-topping 440i six-cylinder petrol. All 48-volt systems come with a belt-fed starter generator to recoup energy under braking – and this power can then be used to power the car’s 12V electrical system or deployed to assist the combustion engine to help reduce CO2 emissions and boost fuel economy.
The range’s entry-point is the 420i M Sport – but it does without the mild-hybrid system. Instead its uses a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine, developing 181bhp and 300Nm. Top speed stands at 149mph, 0–62mph takes 7.5 seconds and BMW fuel economy of up to 53.3mpg. The 430i uses the same 2.0-litre petrol engine, but power increases to 254bhp.
