The new Skoda Roomster is a concept car aimed at redefining the driving experience for both driver and passengers. Its name is a clear indication of its intention to be a spacious family vehicle that does not sacrifice performance or handling.

The theme of the car is a clear yet seamless division of the interior cabin into the ‘Driving Room’ and the ‘Living Room’. The front cabin has been designed as if the car was a hatchback, giving a fun and relaxed feel. For the passengers in the rear, the raised roof and sizeable side and rear windows make for a great view and greatly enhance the impression of space.

Twenty different seating combinations are possible with the ‘Varioflex’ seats, which can be folded, rolled up, attached to the front seats or removed altogether. This last option results in an astonishing 1,780 litres of storage space. And, in the unlikely event of even more room being required, optional extras include a bike carrier, a luggage basket and surfboard holder.
