The New Jaguar XF
Residuals Best In Class

The new Jaguar XF, recently announced, will cost from £33,900 in the UK. Buyers of Jaguar’s new mid-size premium saloon will also enjoy class-leading residual values* in addition to owning a very well-equipped vehicle with a driving experience that matches the excitement of Jaguar's bold new design language.
Available to order now, the XF makes its public debut on September 11 at the Frankfurt International Motor Show. UK dealers will have demonstrators in showrooms early next year and the first UK customers will receive their new XF in time for the March 1 registration.
The £33,900 OTR price secures the 2.7-litre V6 diesel or the 3.0-litre V6 petrol. A choice of 4.2-litre V8 models – one of them with a supercharged engine – is also available, with prices from £44,500. All XFs feature a sophisticated six-speed automatic transmission that includes a unique, all-new JaguarDrive Selector – an industry first rotary shift interface – and the Jaguar Sequential ShiftTM System with steering-wheel mounted paddles for one-touch manual control.

UK Managing Director Geoff Cousins said: “We are very excited the new XF is now in the public domain and we are confident it will be a great success for our dealers in the UK. The new Jaguar XF combines the emotional appeal of a contemporary, modern Jaguar with all the rational appeal of a spacious five-seater sports saloon with high levels of standard equipment, innovative functional features and competitive pricing. The other excellent news for customers is of course the residual values that experts are quoting for XF.”
Industry-leading residual value experts CAP and EurotaxGlass’s have both put the XF under the microscope and both will be quoting residual value after 36 months / 36,000 miles of 50% of original value for the 2.7-litre diesel Luxury model. These figures from both experts mean the XF 2.7-litre diesel Luxury is best-in-class against rivals BMW, Mercedes, Lexus and Audi. CAP has concluded that the nearest rival, the BMW 525d SE will retain 45.3% of its original value over the same period.
With a top speed of 143 mph, the XF 2.7-litre diesel can reach 0-60 in 7.7 seconds and has a combined CO2 of 199 g/km, meaning it falls within UK Tax Band ‘F’. At this level it would not be subject to the proposed high level London congestion charges.

The new Jaguar XF, which fuses the style and performance of a sports car with the refinement, space and sophistication of a luxury saloon, has a generous array of equipment across the range. There are three levels of specification: Luxury, Premium Luxury and SV8.

Three new Volkswagen Models Coming Soon

Polo Bluemotion
Volkswagen is introducing the extremely economical Polo BlueMotion to it's product range, currently the most efficient car of its class in Europe. The Polo BlueMotion, is manufactured in Pamplona, Spain, and will launch in the UK in August.
The BlueMotion sustainability initiative represents "Blue" - the Volkswagen colour - symbolising the elements water and air. "Motion" embodies the aspect of a mobility oriented forward, towards the future. The goal is to protect the resources of the earth for future generations.
Despite its considerable economy, the Polo BlueMotion offers agile driving performance and exceptional fuel efficiency averaging 70.6mpg - 74.3mpg (depending on specification chosen - see below). It is also fitted with a diesel particulate filter (DPF) as standard equipment, so it produces fewer harmful emissions. This extraordinary combination of agility and economy is achieved by, significant aerodynamic refinements, a lower kerb weight and a highly efficient modified 1.4 TDI 80PS advanced engine.
The front of the Polo BlueMotion has been modified to greatly improve the cars aerodynamics, without sacrificing style or equipment levels.

New Golf Estate
The dynamic lines of the new Golf Estate reveals fresh styling and a bold new look. It's invigorating design delivers the quality, reliability and safety of a Golf - with the space and the flexibility of an estate, what greater combination could you ask?
You can rely on it to meet your every need, with its remarkable load volume of up to 1,550 litres, numerous practical solutions and roof rails; it's prepared for all eventualities. Its flat boot floor with handy storage boxes provides maximum flexibility for everyday use while the latest safety systems provide all the protection you could ask for. The Electronic Stabilisation Programme (ESP), continues to set the standard for safety in its class.

Tiguan
Volkswagen has unveiled its exciting new compact 4x4, which will go on sale in the UK in February 2008.
Designed to offer the best of all worlds, the Tiguan will provide high comfort levels, coupled with dynamic driving performance, both on and off-road. Its compact dimensions hide a truly spacious interior, while the car’s impressive power is combined with eco-friendly economy. No other car combines so many different virtues.

Maintaining the 'baby Touareg' appearance, Tiguan makes a distinctive styling statement. At 4.4 metres long, 1.85 m wide and 1.69 m high, it is very similar in size to the Touran compact MPV (4.4 m, 1.8 m, 1.6 m).
The Tiguan’s ‘face’ and side profile are immediately recognisable as those of a Volkswagen, and yet they are different from all existing models in the range. At the rear, the lights are integrated into the shoulder section similar to those on the Eos and Passat, while the steeply sloping tailgate extends right down to the bumpers, giving the Tiguan an unmistakably SUV design. In the UK, the Tiguan will initially be available with two engines - a 2.0-litre 140 PS TDI diesel, and a 1.4-litre 150 PS TSI petrol unit. Later in 2008 a 170 PS TDI and two further petrol engines will become available to order. Both diesel engines meet the stringent Euro 5 emissions standard that comes into effect in 2009.

Tiguan will be available in S, SE and Sport trims, all with four-wheel drive and an 18 degree angle of approach, a figure that defines the size of obstruction the vehicle can drive over. Customers requiring additional off-road capability can choose a 28 degree angle of approach front end.

And that’s no easy task. This high revving 4.2 power plant is capable of developing an impressive 420 p.s. and a maximum 82,500 rpm. Enabling you to get the most from it are a number of auxillary technologies – a lightweight aluminium crankcase, spontaneous R tronic automated 6-speed gearbox and optional Audi Magnetic Ride – an adaptive damping system which adjust the chassis setup according to the road conditions or your own unique driving style.

Inside its rigid yet lightweight Aluminium Space Frame, the R8 has more than a hint of a racing car inspiration in its layout and appearance, with fine nappa leather sports seats, driver oriented instruments and a leather flat bottomed steering wheel as standard.
