This is a new opportunity within the Westerly Group BMW/ MINI operation based in Exeter to respond to group internet enquiries.
The eSales centre is a new concept for us and will mean setting up a team of individuals to manage internet enquiries and arrange appointments for dealership staff. Westerly want to operate from 9.00am to 10.00pm 7 days a week and this means individuals should expect to work from home as well as from the dealership. This type of work might suit individuals who wish to have greater flexibility in their approach to work. Hours can be designed to suit as long as the enquiry management process is fulfilled and appointments made. We would expect a minimum contract of 25 hours per week..
The hours of work can cover flexible shifts to include working from home as well as the dealership. Candidates will need to be available for their shift hours, for example, if committing to 5 evenings from 4.00pm to 10.00pm would need to be able to respond to enquiries within this time period and provide feedback for appointments and confirm with the dealership during normal opening hours. .
Currently we envisage shift patterns in the dealership from 9.00am to 5.00pm 5 days a week, from home 4.00pm to 10.00pm 7 evenings a week, and weekends from home 9.00am to 5.00pm.
Training will be provided.in dealership.
Westerly will expect to respond to web based enquiries from the manufacturer website, Helston Garages Group website, live chat, as well as BMW's own eretail platform and other web operations such as Car Wow ideally within 7 to 10 minutes. This can be as simply as acknowledging customers and arranging for their enquiry to be dealt with by a dealership the following day or providing information, vehicle availability, service booking date or a quotation through the eretail platform.
The ideal candidates will have customer service experience, used to dealing with customers over the phone and face to face. You will need to be computer literate and able to handle volume internet enquiries, qualifying customers and arranging appointments for the Sales team. The role offers an attractive basic, dependent on experience and bonus opportunities relating to response time, appointments and sales.
The first stage will be to recruit an eSales Controller, (who will be expected to fulfil 40 hours) who will then recruit a team of staff to support the eSales activities. Please get in touch if you have an interest in either role.
