Westerly is looking for an experienced Local Business Development Manager (LBDM) to promote and sell BMW and MINI within the local business community market place.
The purpose of the role is to gain new business in order to develop profitable relationships, while continuously maintaining and developing more business with existing customers across the South West.
Responsibilities include continuous prospecting and selection of new customers, making appointments and meeting with potential customers, reviewing market trends, identifying profitable opportunities, maintaining an active database of potential business, keeping in touch and building rapport with existing customers and managing your time to approach possible targets and following through to contract sign-up.
As a LBDM the role will be based on promoting both the Sales and Aftersales department to maximise business returning to the aftersales department and increasing dealership loyalty.
Experience within the automotive industry is essential, to be considered for this role you must have experience representing a main franchised dealer in a LBDM / Corporate Sales / Fleet Sales / Business User / Business Centre / B2B Sales role, with experience and a proven track record working with finance, fleet or leasing. The successful candidate will be professional, determined, thorough and confident in order to be successful in this environment.
You must have a Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
Monday – Friday 8.30am – 6pm. Some Saturday and evening work for events and launches.
